Mini Putt Gem Garden

One can pass many a hour away attempting to master the various angles to ultimately get the ball into the hole with the least amount of attempts. Happylander‘s Mini Putt Gem Garden will keep the user interested in a quick 5 to 10 minute par 34 course.

The entertaining minigolf-themed mobile game is user friendly by simply pointing the mouse over the ball, holding down and pulling back the left clicker for the desired power. One note of caution is to not let go of the left clicker since it will putt the ball prior to your desired power and tally an extra stroke against the player. The putt putt course gets a participant’s confidence juiced up right out of the gate with a couple of easy par 2 holes that one does not have much difficulty in getting off to a two under par score.

An advantage to the player is one cannot hit the ball over the cup as long as you are lined up to the hold accurately. Commencing with hole #3 the more difficult angles begin to appear along with the downhill and uphill greens. The narrow putt putt boards appear forgiving but in fact this is not the case. Finesse is key to getting around the Mini Putt Gem Garden course. In many cases it is more advantageous to power down a bit and take the stroke to put your ball in a better position to score. Holes #4 and # 5 are nasty with the ball sitting directly behind a square block. Do not try to power your way through the angles but instead settle for positioning to get no worse than a par. Upon playing hole #6 a player must be patient to get through the corkscrew of a maze. Two options are to power the ball through by carefully reviewing your angles or power down and slowly maneuver your way while hopefully settling for a par 5 unlike my three attempts at it scoring a “9” in each instance. Finishing up the round on 7 and 8 sand traps are introduced and one is better off using maximum power to get through them. The final hole is a tough with four walls to decipher through yet not too difficult as long as you manage your angles. Mini Putt Gem Garden is close to realistic putt putt and wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try.
